![]() ![]() ![]() These are the Classic jigsaw games, Jigsaw Jams, and the Daily Challenges.Ĭlassic games are pretty much what you would expect: You simply choose your picture, the number of pieces, and then quietly reassemble the image by snapping the pieces together. ![]() One of the reasons that this game stands out so much is that there are several ways to solve puzzles. ![]() The biggest downside is that it's ad-supported, though for about $10 a year you can upgrade to the premium edition and eliminate that problem. It's easily one of the best jigsaw puzzle games I've come across, and that's not for lack of competition. It's a great time killer and the customizing really makes the time playing it more personal. In the past, Microsoft's games have had a history of being forgettable or lackluster, but this entry certainly breaks with that tradition. The ConclusionĪ free game of solving puzzles that any age can really pick up at any moment is something that no one can complain about. This was unique as well though the main chunk of my time was spent on doing the classic mode. That's right, I was able to make one of my past Guinea Pig Bif and also of Cortana! The other mode within Jigsaw is a quicker game where you are challenged to build the puzzles quicker or in a particular order in a style of a blitz. There's also the wonderful option to take or import custom photos to create puzzles of whatever you want. Building on this you're also given multiple collections that you can purchase with in-game gold that's collected as you complete other puzzles. No time limits or restraints for you and there's even a little box on the side for you to put pieces away for later. Basically we have traditional play which allows you to pick a difficulty and then of course solve it. Never did I think that a game of solving puzzles would be so much fun. I particularly picked to do this review of Microsoft Jigsaw as it's actually fantastic. It's always nice to get another free game from Microsoft on the Windows 8 store as there really isn't a ton of selection when it comes to achievement enabled games.
